Baby Showers!

We have been blessed with love! On Sunday, December 14, we had a special friends & family baby shower. Aunt Amy, Nicole, Lisa, and Sarah hosted the special occasion. We started with a wonderful lunch of warm chicken salad, tossed salad, spinach squares, fresh fruit, and spinach dip with vegetables. Everything was so tasty!!! We also had fancy pink punch, which I really enjoyed! After lunch, I opened wonderful gifts! Jeff and I are so excited to use everything with you, baby girl! We can't wait to have you in our lives! We ate delicious yellow cake during gift giving. Mmmmm! (Jeff and I are enjoying the leftovers at home!) After the gifts, we had a shower game of tasting baby food and guessing what the wonderful creations were. I scored 60%. :) The peaches, applesauce, and pears were my favorites! We'll be sure to try those first with you :) I wonder what you will think about all of those tastes! I don't blame you if you don't enjoy the vegetables at first, but hopefully you'll love them once you get to eat solids! We want you to be healthy!
I had such a wonderful time at the shower! Usually I don't love being the center of attention, but it was so much fun having the attention aimed towards getting ready for baby! I loved being around the women in my life that I love most!

DTV Countdown!

Every day we have been hearing about the countdown to DTV, which is scheduled for February 17. At first, I thought, "How annoying! We hear about this mutiple times each day!" Then, I turned it into something very exciting! Whatever number they give on the news for the number of days until February 17th, I subtract 12 for how many days until our due date! So... As of today, we have 52 days until your anticipated big debut!!! How exciting!
